The S4A Instrument family is a continuing evolution in a series of proven multi-purpose hydrographic data acquisition products that are continuously upgraded using the latest devices and techniques in microprocessor based instrumentation.
InterOcean Systems Inc. CTD's and Multiparameter Probes provide precise and simultaneous in-situ measurements, with a choice of parameters that can include Conductivity, Salinity, Temperature, Depth, Sound Velocity, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Turbidity, Specific Ions, and Redox. The CTD/S4 is a lightweight, self-contained, intelligent water quality monitoring and recording instrument for oceanic and inland waters. Small size and light weight make the CTD/S4 ideally suited to profiling applications, and easily deployable from small vessels.
SBE 32 Carousel Water Sampler - An innovative design free of the reliability problems
associated with motor-driven types. The Carousel has no moving-shaft seals that can bind up at low
temperatures or under pressure because each bottle position has its own magnetically-activated
lanyard release latch. Only the magnetic field - not a moving part - links the Carousel's lanyard
release mechanism with the pylon control electronics.
In the Aquadopp IM300, we have integrated a Seabird Inductive Modem Module (IMM) into the standard Aquadopp. This system is designed for operation on long mooring cables with the data being transferred along the jacketed steel cable to a controlling modem that is located in a surface buoy or similar. The Aquadopp IM300 consists of a series of mechanical, electrical, and firmware changes to the Aquadopp but can be operated also as a standard system if the inductive modem is not needed.
